Arts

Our Arts programs include visual arts, design, dance, theater arts, and music. Students are given the opportunity to develop artistic perceptions, creative expression, and aesthetics of art as well as developing their ability to make the connections between art and other aspects of life. Students will have the opportunity to develop themes of work according to their ability levels. The process of creative thinking and expression is nurtured across all grade levels encouraging students to explore and discover art forms from various cultures/countries. Through the arts, students learn to work together, collaborate, and build confidence. They gain practical skills, learn new techniques in each field, and have an array of arts electives to choose from as they progress into the higher grade levels.

External Accreditation through the ArtsPlus Program

As part of our ArtsPlus programme, students have the opportunity to pursue internationally recognised qualifications through Trinity College London and LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art). These external examinations allow students to develop their skills in performance, communication, and creativity while working toward accredited certifications that hold global prestige.

We also prepare students through participation in our local Eisteddfod, where they gain valuable performance experience in music and drama. This platform helps build confidence, stage presence, and examination readiness in an encouraging, community-centred environment.

Through guided preparation and personalised coaching, students build confidence, discipline, and artistic excellence. Participation in these exams not only strengthens their performing arts journey but also enhances their academic portfolios and future opportunities in arts education and beyond.
