AP Program

The Advanced Placement (AP) classes at AISCT, offered to 11th and 12th graders, prepare students for college/university-level studies. These courses are rigorous and challenging in terms of their content and workload. In May of each year, students take external AP examinations set by the College Board; scores are reported in July. In some cases, high scores (4 or 5) on AP examinations can count for college credit at US universities. For more information, see the College Board's AP Central website.

AISCT will offer the following AP courses in the 2011-2012 school year:

Biology

Calculus AB

English Language & Composition

English Literature & Composition

European History

French Language & Culture

US History
