Principal's Welcome
Welcome to the AISCT website!
My name is Kevin Coordt. This is my third year as the Principal of AISCT and my 15th year in education. I am accompanied by my wife Chene, four-year-old daughter Kaila and 16-month-old son Kai. My family and I relocated from San Diego, California, and we are all thrilled to be living and working in such an amazing city as Cape Town.
Who are the AISCT Grizzlies? We are a diverse group of uniquely talented students from two to 18 years of age representing 45 countries. We are global citizens who bring our unique experiences and perspectives together at AISCT. We learn together, share our stories, show compassion for others, celebrate our victories and comfort each other during life’s down turns.
We are blessed with a talented and dedicated faculty from 11 countries whose continual focus is student learning. We are committed to small class sizes with an overall student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1. We form partnerships with faculty, staff, parents and community members to work together with a singular focus: to provide a world class education for our students. Currently, we have over 70 AISCT alumni studying at universities on six continents.
The information and photos within our website will help illustrate what makes AISCT such a special school. You’ll experience a “splash of our culture” and understand what makes this place of learning so extraordinary.
